Most of us only hear poetry in pop music and advertisement jingles, but there's a whole history of the art to choose from. Try reading aloud: poetry is as much (or more) about the sounds as it is about the content.

Storytelling: The rumor has it that C.S. Lewis said, "We read to know we're not alone." Despite studies that show we're reading less, the book remains an almost magical item - a bound pile of paper that might hold any world we can imagine.
Dramatizing: The people of ancient Greece, it has been said, believed that the gods actually appeared on stage during a play. We're more likely to worship celebrity now, but there is plenty of brave theatre and courageous film making to be found in our own era.
Lyricizing: "Those who hear not the music think the dancer mad," so make your music heard.
Bodies Never Lie: Don't be fooled by the name: abs are an integral part of belly dance; but this family of dance styles is far more nuanced than you might think. Dance has been around, in effect, since humanity, and belly dance performance and practice can be just plain fun or nigh transcendent.
Throw Things: Sometimes juggling objects can be an awfully good remedy for juggling life. Meanwhile, impress all your friends with your super powers of manipulation and dexterity!
Color the Lines: It's an old cliche to say a picture's worth a thousand words. Check out these photographers, painters, and graphic artists and see if it's true.
Make Things: From the shiny to the colorful to somewhat darker crafts, the vaguely bohemian would do well to incorporate a few of these skills into her repertoire, and a few of these items into his wardrobe!
